Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1992 Ford Explorer Sport for someone interested in parts/project. Currently it runs- but only on 5 cylinders due to the fact that there is a spark plug broken off in one of the cylinders (happened at the repair shop), and to repair that boo boo would be more than I am willing to put in to fix it- and I've purchased a nicer vehicle. It has lots of new parts in it, new tires, rancho shocks, rear brakes (were relined a month ago). I am selling it in as-is condition the winning bidder is responsible for hauling this vehicle off of my premises. It is not road worthy in the state it is in- it can be moved short distances, but I wouldn't trust it more than a block or two. Up until this last trip to the repair shop, it was my daily driver and well on it's way to being a 200K vehicle for me, but not at this point. I am sorry I do not have extensive photos of this vehicle, I will do my best to describe the defects beyond what I have mentioned so far. Things that need to be repaired- Radius arm bushings/brackets need replaced. Needs front brakes. They 4x4 shift motor does not operate. The air conditioning does not work. Needs new door bushings on both doors (the doors sag) and the passenger side door handle does not work (outside handle). It also has a knee sized dent in the drivers side door that was present when I purchased the vehicle. The spare tire is also missing- it was stolen recently:-(. It has cruise control, but it doesn't work either. I have done a lot of fixing on this truck, including a paint job with Farm Equipment paint (used a spray gun and air compressor). I replaced the ball joints and front bearings, both U-joints, put a new clutch in it, and a generic brand name CD player. In addition to the 4 Dayton Timberline A/T tires and Rancho Shocks. Just remember- YOU BUY IT-YOU HAUL IT! If you have further questions, send me an e-mail. GOOD LUCK!!!!!
