Vehicle Detail
Up for bids is a 1974 Chevrolet Elcamino. This is a running driving project or drive it as it is. It has a 350 engine with the 350 turbo trans. The engine runs great, a little cold natured because of the carb but runs out great once it warms up a little. Trans shifts fine. The car has the complete air conditioning system on it but I think it needs charged, it doesnt kick on. The car has a brand new dual exhaust system that was just recently installed, its pretty quiet but you can just add some other mufflers if you want noise. The brakes work good. All glass is good. The interior needs some work, the top part of the drivers door panel needs replaced, lower part is good, passenger side is good. The seat needs recovered and the dash pad needs a cover put on it. Headliner is fair. The floor pans have been patched but they werent completely gone just needed attention, can be used as is or replaced depending on how nice you want the car. The hood is very nice, front fenders are good also, doors are nice and the bottoms of them are very solid which is rare for these cars. Passenger side quarter panel has a little damage as shown in a pic but its an easy fix. There is also a little rust behind the wheel on the lower area. The drivers side quarter panel is good except for some rust on the lower area behind the wheel. The top has some pitted rust as shown in a pic. Inside the bed is pretty solid, someone painted it with silver paint for some reason. The tailgate is good, the frame is good. Front bumper has some chrome peelimg but is decent for a driver, rear has one side pushed in a little, may be pulled back out for a driver. The tires are about new but I did see some dry cracking on some sidewall area. The car has steel wheels with what I think are the original wheel covers. The car seems to run, shift, and drive great but I havent driven it very far. I recommend trailering it if you are very far away, thats up to you. The car has a clear VA title. This is a great car to restore or just make a nice daily driver. The car is a 74 model guys so dont expect a perfect vehicle. The buy it now price is dirt cheap for a running driving Elcamino so dont miss out. Checkout my 100% positive feedback as it tells you are dealing with an honest ebayer, we tell it like it is. Thanks for reading my novel and if you have questions just drop me an email. Thanks for looking and good luck should you decide to bid or buy this great project car!!!
