1977 CB400F Super Sport Let it never be said that you couldn’t own a vintage bike! Here is a bike that was produced for 3 years only, and has become a cult rider and collector bike. They are selling for a fraction of the price of British or other European vintage bikes. Parts are easily available, and since it’s a Honda, quality is not an issue. That being said, the CB400F is also a cool, high performance motorcycle. The 1977 version of the CB400F, is in my opinion, the most collectable of the series. It has new tires and tubes, a fresh oil change w/filter and a new air filter. The original tool kit is included. The bike has 13,600 miles showing, and I believe that it is correct. The right side cover is an aftermarket replacement, and was just purchased. Both side covers will need to be painted the tank color, with new decals, to be correct. Other wise they look just fine. The 1976 CB400F had black covers. It has been stored for some time, but always in a heated building. It starts and idles perfect. I have not ridden it since last summer, so I’m sure it might need some minor tuning. Michigan is not a place to test ride motorcycles in February. The 4 into 1 factory pipes look good. The Muffler has a weld repair but is very serviceable. A replacement would cost under $100. It has a clear Michigan Title. This is a really nice example of a really great bike. Not perfect, but very nice. There is no reserve on this auction. The opening bid is the least I would consider, and there is a buy it now price.
