Up for auction for the second time (Winning bidder failed to come through with the money) is a 1947 Packard Clipper Limousine. This car is from Venezuela. It would be a great restoration project as the body seems to be in solid shape. There is surface rust but I see no evidence of any areas that are rusted through. Flat head striaght 8 cyl, 3 speed on the column, 25,743 Kilometers (see pic of speedometer), no keys, trunk locked and will not open, front bumper is in the car (see pics), no hubcaps, no divider window between front and rear seat so I don't know if this disqualifies it as a limo or not, jump seats fold out from back of front seat (see pics). Crankshaft turns when you turn the fan pulley so it doesn't seem to be locked up. All glass in tact. All doors open and close. I do not know much about Packards. I'm listing this car for a friend who needs to sell it. All title work has been completed through department of motor vehicles and we are waiting for them to mail hard copy.
