Offered for sale is one clean and solid 2000 Jeep Cherokee Classic 4 wheel drive. A motor with 80 k miles has just been installed. These motors are known to run forever with head gasket issues being the only concern. With that in mind the cylinder was removed from the new motor and sent to a machine shop where it was surfaced and a valve job performed. It was reinstalled with a new head gasket. The motor was also cleaned and painted after installing new timing cover gasket, front crank seal, oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket and intake/exhaust gasket. The waterpump, serpentine belt, spark plugs, thermostat, radiator and radiator hoses are also brand new. Obviously the coolant system has been flushed and the motor oil and filter are new. The motor runs great. The front and rear brakes have just been done with new rotors, pads, drums and shoes. The tires are a matched set of coopers with at least 50-60 % tread left. The front end has all new ball joints, tie rod ends, drag link, sway bar links and a new alignment. This Jeep is very solid for a Northern vehicle of its age. It looks to have been undercoated quite well with only minor surface rust underneath. The transmission engages and shifts smoothly. The 4 wheel drive works well. The interior is in good shape. The paint looks good with minor chips and scratches. It has had previous paint work. The only negatives I could point out would be a small dent int the rear hatch below the glass on the right side and on the drivers side front window the automatic down feature seems to stick. The window goes up and down fine but once all the way down it makes a noise and all you have to do is hit the switch once and its fine. The vehicle has a clear Florida title in my name which makes it easy to transfer as Florida titles do not have to be notarized. I pride myself on my honesty and accurate description. I believe this to be a good solid used vehicle however it is a 12 years old with 139k miles and it is being sold "as is". Please do not bid if you expect a perfect car. My only negative feedback is from when I sold my brothers 16 yr old Toyota truck which had 190 k miles on it. I received negative feedback because of a tranny cooler line.
