Vehicle Detail
Ok here we go, this is a very hard day for me. But Ive realized I need to let my baby go, and let someone with the time and vision to see her finished. ********* EVERYTHING on this truck is BRAND NEW********** Lets start with the Chevy 502 Big Block.......I have put 0 miles on it, only been test ran by the builder ( AES Automotive) All work was done by AES Automotive, these guys have built many sucessful pro mod motors. Its got a BDS 871 Blower, Shot gun scoop, 2 Holley Carbs, MSD Ignition, Manley Push Rods, Comp Cams Cam and Roller Lifters, CSR Platinum Starter, Billet Specialties Alternator, Crank and Pistons are stock from GM, as are the Heads but have been port and polished. To keep it all cool, it has a Be Cool Radiator with electric fans. It is all backed up by a Hughes 400 Trans which has also been powdercoated. Also has a stainless steel fuel cell built by Ricks with built in Aeromotive fuel pump to feed the 750 horses . Again EVERYTHING is BRAND NEW. CHASSIS was built by Ricks Racecraft using Chris Alston components. It has a Fab 9 rearend. It has adjustable coilovers and can be lowered another 2 inches, but I was waiting until I had the rest of the truck put together before lowering it further. Everything has been powdercoated for durability. Wildwood disc brakes on all four corners. Billet Specialties Hollow Point wheels. Mickey Thompson 18.5 x 33 Tires with 18 inch Nittos up front.Pictures speak to the quality, Again EVERYTHING is Brand New. BODY MODS..... Fenders, Doors, Hood, Bumper, Grille, Tailgate, Core support are all brand new. The bed was purchased out of Texas and is off an 87 shortbed. Front end is all 89 blazer for newer style headlights. Basically the cab is the only original piece to the 77.All bodywork was done by my dad who was in the profession for over 30 years. Countless hours have been spent widening wheel tubs in the bed. Narrowing and smoothing front bumper so it sits nice and close to fenders (looks awesome) Door handles have been shaved as well as the marker lights filled. Tail lights have also been filled and relocated to the rear roll pan. Tailgate has been smoothed using a new weld over skin panel. A 1959 Chevy Dash has been fitted to the cab. All mounting hardware is stainless allen head bolts, and comes as a complete front to back kit. Parts that have been painted are done in Viper Red. INTERIOR..... To compliment the 1959 Chevy Dash we also installed a 59 Speaker Housing between the Suburban bucket seats, which we had planned have recovered in leather with hounds tooth inserts to keep in theme with the 59 chevy. It has a Chrome IDIDIT steering column. which we planned to top off with a 59 Chevy steering wheel. Also has a Hummer shift handle for the automatic trans. I know it wouldnt have been found in a 59 Chevy, but it was just so cool looking I had to use it. All weather stripping is from Soff Seal. Also comes with electronic door poppers from Rod Tronics. There is so much to this truck and I have cut 0 corners to make it the best, Im sure Ive forgotten something, so if you have any questions or need more pics or anything, PLEASE dont hesitate to call me at 847 561 4075 and ask for Jeff. Im listing this truck at about a third of what I have into it, but I know she still needs work. I guarantee you will not be disappointed with the quality of this truck, A small investment that could be easily completed and turn heads everywhere you go. Ive heard the motor run and it sounds so awesome that no plans for a radio were ever intended. Again 847 561 4075 with any questions, ask for Jeff. Thanks for looking. On Feb-06-12 at 13:30:54 PST, seller added the following information:I should mention that although there are 2 colors it is the same truck and the same motor. We had painted it aqua, and then changed to the red and added the blower at a later time. Sorry for any confusion.
