You are bidding on a 1976 Porsche 914 with a brand new fully race-prepared 3.0 litre motor, approx. 275-300 hp (9000 rpm redline). This Porsche 914 has a BRAND NEW (zero hours, zero miles) nearly $8000 motor hand-built by Bernie Bergmann, inside of it. It is nearly 3 liters, about 11:1 compression and features solid lifters, a 911 fan, blower, doghouse assembly and ultra-high-end everything else. The body had nearly $4000 spent on it to have all serious rust and cancer removed or eradicated. Real steel was cut in, welded in, ground in, integrated, and smoothed anywhere rust was found. The Targa Top is literally 100%. The factory Fuchs wheels look good. The transmission is original (factory) and has matching numbers for the car. It has not been rebuilt. The body/paint job, as you can see via the photos is a super dark indigo with rowdy white racing stripe. The pedal cluster has been rebuilt with the bronze bushing and teflon spacer kit from Pelican (but the clutch cable and throttle cables need to be attached). The interior is a little rough, and is race-car spartan. The dash was rebuilt for track duty (photo included). The wiring still needs to be done, so, the car cannot be driven home (it will need to be loaded on a flat bed). I am willing to assist with loading/delivery. Yes, I would ship the car to Germany if you have the requisite means. I have a baby now and I have moved away from race tracks, so I am hoping that the next owner of this car will finish it and race it in prepared or modified classes, wheel to wheel racing and/or autocross it (this car would obviously be an awesome street car, for the competent driver).
