For your consideration is a very desirable 1965 Ford F-100 Custom Cab Short Bed Pickup Truck. The original color is rangoon red. However, this vehicle is a PROJECT and is not currently in driving condition. Towing is required to remove this truck. It has been in my garage for over eleven years and I drove it until about four years ago. At that time I removed the transmission and began disassembling the front clip. It had been bumped on the right front and I have a new front bumper, a used gravel shield and right fender. It has become apparent that I simply do not have the time to complete this project. So, it is offered here for auction and also for sale locally. The truck has a 390 FE Ford motor with an Eldelbrock aluminum intake, single Holley carburetor, electronic ignition and headers. It ran very well. The transmission is the original three-speed manual with column shift. It was completely rebuilt as a project at the local technical institute and has not been re-installed. The brakes were good, but they are the original drum brakes. Front suspension needs work with worn out kingpins and draglink. The windshield is cracked, but all other glass is good. I have secured and include many new and used parts. The truck has minimual rust and has the potential to be a terrific street machine. The miles are probably in excess of mechanical limits.
