1968 Mercury Montego MX 2-door coupe, 302 4brl, automatic transmission (new transmission purchased in 1993), dual exhaust, AC, power steering, original AM radio (has a stereo/cassette player mounted on bottom of dash), 92,361 original miles (had 62,000 miles when purchased in 1992), original CA black plate car (still have original black plate along with all the registrations from the time the car was purchased new), partial rebuild on front end, new fuel tank and sending unit, rebuilt carburetor (not the original but we still have the original carburetor), car runs and drives, currently not registered. Have the factory service manual for the car. The car will require some work to be driven. JUST TESTED THE COMPRESSOR FOR THE AIR CONDITIONER AND IT WORKS, OF COURSE IT DOES NEED SOME FREON. The interior is green and has the original vinyl; I had seat covers made for the car. I have not taken the seat covers off since I purchased them, so I have not looked at the seats, but the seats were in perfect condition when the seat covers went on. There is a tear in the dash pad; it has been there since I purchased the car. The headliner is torn. The spring for the trunk lid is also broken, and has been since I purchased the car.
