For sale is our 97 Tacoma that is in very good condition. It has a 4 cyl 2.7 motor, with a 5 speed tranny. 4wd works very good. Exhaust is in good shape. Has 31" tires all around. The truck runs very good and I would take it anywhere. The body is better then the pictures show, for a 15 yr old truck it is in excellent shape. The previous owner put most of the miles on it as he was a "piano tuner" and used it to make house calls for his business. To my knowledge the high mileage is not correct as I believe the previous owner replaced the tach and od with a used one, it runs and drives like it has 100K miles. It has been meticulously maintained and garage kept its entire life. In the last year the alternator was replaced ($330), the clutch and torque converter($770) have been replaced and 2 weeks ago I replaced the fuel pump ($405). Air cond blows cold and heater works as it should. Interior shows some wear on driver seat but rest of interior is in very good condition. The truck drives very tight and no weird noises. No check engine light is on or any other concerning indications. Truck is ready to drive and I would have no problem driving it long distance.
