You are bidding on 1972 Volvo 1800ES Automatic in great condition. Original California car with absolutely no rust. Belonged to one family, father and daughter. That makes me the second/third owner. Original owner kept all receipts and service records since new. I have the original purchase contract signed in 06/72 with price of $4300. This Volvo has very low 87K documented miles. As you know a 1966 Volvo P1800 holds the Guinness World record for most miles driven at 2.8 million miles!!! Everything works on this car, including stereo/cassette player, A/C, windows, clock, lights, turn signals, horn, etc. The only thing does not work is the tachometer, and might be an easy fix. Body is absolutely straight with no dents, dings, or any kind of blemishes. Car has never been in accident, no bondo, no rust. Interior was completely redone and looks beautiful, carpets are very clean, just check out the pictures. This is a list of new parts installed recently: New spark plugs and wires, distributor cap New brakes and brake lines all around New dash board covers, upper and lower with custom sun protector New engine and transmission mounts and brackets New engine and transmission gaskets New windshield seals, door seals, rear window seals New drive belts New fuel sending unit New Steering coupling New engine oil, transmission oil, brake fluid and coolant I took some picture before car was painted in Rally Green Metallic, as you can see old paint was still good, but started to peel in some areas. Paint job is very good, no overspray, car looks like brand new. Underneath car is very solid, dry and clean, previous owner did an amazing rust proofing. Car starts and drives well, transmission shifts fine through all gears, no strange noises. At some point fuel injection was replaced by Webber carburetor by previous owner. Does not overheat, will take you anywhere. Car comes with original tools, jack, spare tire, extra keys, owner manuals, receipts and service records.
