Before you begin... Please be aware that this vehicle has a "Salvage Title." Still, this is a very nice 550 SEC and labeling it "salvage" does not bring it justice. This car is mechanically sound, very presentable, and can be driven anywhere! Let me know if you need more info, and please contact me first if you have less than 5 feedback score, please! Greetings! I am listing this 1991 Mercedes Benz 560 SEC with a little over 172,000 miles for a local Gentleman in Tampa (the car is parked inside the Mac Dill Air Force Base!). He's a retired Air Force Major (Attorney) and has decided to sell because he's not using if as much, and because he's getting older as well. I think it's worth mentioning that this particular person takes very good care of his cars... I mean he will not drive any of them unless everything is working properly... In other words, one may say that he's a little obsessive about his rides! Just to give you an idea, he paid close to $3,500 (including installation) for the Becker Mexico Radio with CD Changer. I could not believe it! Now about the Mercedes: First, I think that this car looks better in person. I personally drove this car and it's awesome! Mechanically the car needs nothing (In case you are not familiar with this type of vehicles, these Mercedes are known to reach over 300,000 miles!). The A/C works, and everything else as it should. The driver side front fender clear-finish is pealing off (see photo). Rear bumper has a big scratch like (see photo), and the front bumper has scratches on driver side as well, but I think it will come off with wax. Tires are new, replaced all rubber and gaskets, full tune up. The trunk CD Changer cover plate is cosmetically damaged, but it works. Again, mechanically this car is in excellent condition, and he expressed that he has spent over $3500 (not including the above mentioned radio) this past year on this car too! What the car needs is a good wash but the owner did not have time. This Benz it's ready to be enjoyed and go anywhere! Still, keep in mind that this car is over 20 years old, so keep expectations realistically... This is not a new car or a ground-up restoration!! Please be aware that this vehicle has a "Salvage Title." I was told that the car had some type of front collision damage at some point. I took some photos of the under carriage and did not see any evidence of repairs, so it was probably professionally fixed. This is a NO RESERVE LISTING, so this is a good opportunity to acquire a nice 560 SEC! Serious eBay members only, PLEASE!!
