Vehicle Detail
1990 honda crx si honda crv b20 engine, with mods. The engine/ trans12,000 miles on rebuilt jdm b20 (by me, feel free to ask if you have questions) 11.3:1 compression b20. engine runs awesome. Tuned with wideband and running moates gear. Port and polished head. b18b cams, i.m. Can use e85 with a tune, has a chip that can store 2 programs, and a switch to switch between them.93 ls big shaft trans (shorter gears, stronger trans of the b series cable trans) 12k on clutch, aluminum flywheel. All new energy bushings master kit plus rear control arm big bushings 20kUnderside of the car is super solid, no rust on frame rails. Complete si interior (rear was removed, was going to start body work) even has cargo cover!!Crx bra from honda! Crx moonroof windscreen for crx, has crack, but included with car. new windshield, all windows work, moon roof works, getting a little slow. rear trunk hatch shocks work and hold up gate great.seats are in near perfect, no tears, pass side has 2 dime sized spots wearing on the bolster
gsr fat five rims- not si rims in some picsCar is mechanically sound, and fast. New wheel bearing in front, new calipers in rear and one in front, new brake line in front, new gas tank, new radiator. Carbon fiber hood, has some scratches and needs a clear coat. Faded quite a bit, someone drilled holes in it for hood pins, fiberglass filled in so water would not go in hole.1600 into engine, 250 into aluminum flywheen and new clutch, 200 into bushings, 300 into brakes, 150 into new tank, $$$ into body panels, and $$$ into everything else. the not so hotthe high compression engine is a bit tricky on the starter. If the car shuts off and stops on the compression stroke, I have had to push it a little forward in gear to get it off the stroke to get it started. high torque starter are only 200.00, and for the most part, it is not often that I have to do that. Body has 275k, comes with near rear wheel arches, new rocker panels. not installed yet. Recently a guy ran a four way stop and smacked the front right of the car, no structural frame damage but crunched to headlight socket and to the right of it a bit, I was going to go and get a new piece and weld it in, but have not had time otherwise would of done the rockers and rear arches. Luckily the carbon hood was not on there when it got hit, the metal hood is a little off, and the hinges are a little off. the fenders are dinged up as most of crx fenders are, i put a 89 si fender on there, so its in ok-good shape. the heater has the new face metal plate as well. The metal tab for the hot/ cold has t be turned with pliers, it bound on a hose and poped. The hose was moved and all is good now. feel free to call/text989-621-494two with any questions, concerns, or anything else. Have been doing honda swaps for over 10 years, have ASE master cert, built many honda engines.
