This is a real SLP 1997 Chevrolet Camaro SS 30th Anniversary Coupe. It is one of the rarest SS Camaro’s made in 1997. There were only 66 numbered SS Hardtop Coupes made with a 6sp transmission in 97. I believe I am the third owner of the vehicle, originally purchased from New Mexico, which the owner before me bought it back in 99. It has all the original SLP options, the SLP hood with hood scoop, the ram air intake, the appropriate side fender, rear trunk, and dash badges, the correct SLP door stickers, the original SLP driver side dual exhaust, the Stock SS Rims, and the rear spoiler. The curb weight on the vehicle is 3375 lbs, it has the original 5.7 LT1 motor that pushes 310 HP with 335 TQ and has a top speed of 155 MPH. The car ran great this summer until one day it wouldn’t start and just made a click noise. I took it to a local shop and they told me the LT1 needs rebuilt? I figured I would sell it as is because I don’t have the money to rebuild the LT1. It is a complete car in which the parts are worth quite a bit of money. It has a fully functional 6 sp transmission, the SS package, and the interior. If you are looking for a project or just for a pats car this is the one.
