1979 Lincoln Continental - Town Car $6500 in receipts for all mechanical work New Custom Coach Top This is an amazing example of a truly original American Luxury Liner from the 70's. 1979 marks the end of an era for Lincoln and this will be the last year Lincoln will ever be this large. The car runs amazing and all mechanicals have been done including new timing chain, waterpump and gears. Carburetor has been rebuilt and Transmission was rebuilt too. And from control arms to brakes, to converting the a/c system to r134a. The car runs beautiful down the road and still acheives great gas mileage. What the car will need is power window gears in the rear. The motors work however the plastic gears are broke. The interior is immaculate and show minimal wear on the driver's side. The headliner is near mint. Clock, radio and cd player work great. All power options work well unless otherwise state. The outside is original and I did wax one fender and it came up great. So a good compound and wax is needed. The chrome is decent and the paint does have some chips and very minor rust spots. There has been a custom coach top installed and its full length. It looks gorgeous and is a nice touch. These cars are becoming more and more collectible and harder to find in original quality.
