I am listing this 1996 BMW 328i Convertible with 91,522 miles for a couple in Orlando, Florida, a little over an hour away from St. Pete. They purchased this Bimmer about 10 years ago or so, and are selling because they hardly use it anymore. This BMW is in pretty good shape considering the year. I personally drove it and it rides very well... It's tight, shifts smoothly, drives straight, etc. My conclusion is that mechanically this car is in very good shape. Everything works as it should except that the A/C is no longer working, and the owners don't know why. Most of the issues that I found were the cosmetic kind. Paint is decent but there are blemishes here and there together with slight dings (see photo collage). I tried to show these as best as I could (see images). The hood (see photo collage) is a bit faded, but I believe that it can be improved with a high-speed buffer. Don't get me wrong, as the photos demonstrate, the Bimmer still looks pretty presentable! The interior is fairly good too; however, the door panels finish are coming unglued. This is very typical of this BMW production era. The good news is that it's easy to fix. The radio antenna needs attention (see photo collage). Rear bumper driver side corner damage (see photo collage). Also, the top is new with very little use! What the car really needs is a good in and out detailing. If you are looking for a nice convertible BMW this may be worth your consideration, for I don't think it will take much to bring it back to a near excellent condition level.
