What we have here is an almost 100% Original unrestored example. Was purchased from widow of original owner with 3876 mi. on it. Bike was dropped in 1972 with minor cosmetic damage. It was placed inside finished basement until I bought it in 2/96. To get up and running we replaced spark plugs,air filter,cleaned points adj. valves,flushed carb. Bike started right up but clutch would not disengage. Replaced clutch pack & clutch rod. Then also replaced clutch pin on gearbox side. These are the only major repairs. Replaced damaged frt. fender, Handlebars with "Made in England" parts. Also installed new fork gaitors, foot peg rubbers, etc. .Frt. brake lever,choke lever, horn button replaced with used parts.Tailight lens was chipped so repo put on. Installed new drive chain as the old one dried up. The bushing in the speedo seized and was sent out for repair, new cable installed. Note correct headlamp glass-no running light hole. Note original fuel hoses, safety wire on gas tank studs, finish plating on all nuts and bolts. Have almost complete Tool kit, (missing screwdriver). Bike has been back in storage the last 4 years. Just needs a bath and fresh gas to ride anywere again. Has alittle boot rash on the oil tank and exhaust pipes so don't be afraid to get it dirty. Have most all original parts that were replaced.
