Vehicle Detail
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!!!! What you see is what you get. There is nothing to hide. Ask any and all questions before bidding, not after the sale!! This vehicle was in a garage fire in 2003. This Mustang had 8,000 miles on it including all of the equipment (that was installed new during it's rotisserie build) at the time of the fire. It used to be a very detailed award winning car during it's pampered years. It is a C code model Mustang with a factory 4 speed transmission. The engine and transmisssion are not included with the sale. The trailer on which the car is on is NOT included in the sale. The vehicle still has 4 wheel disc brakes along with a Lincoln Versailles differential that houses a trac-lok with Richmond 3.50's. The rims are 16X8 Budnik wheels that are heavily oxydized. I polished the left front wheel with approximatey one hour of good old elbow grease using Gord's Polish and they still polish up very nicely. I did not completely finish polishing the wheel as it is only to show that the wheels still have life in them. They are not show pieces but they do show great for a daily driver as you can see in the pictures. This vehilce will need a complete and thorough rebuild. The VIN is 5F08C333333. The original color of the car is poppy red with a white interior, black carpet and black dashpad. The vehilce sits level and has 1" lowered front spring and GT springs in the rear which at the time the vehicle was rebuilt were installed new. I have included a picture from the 2007 San Antonio Autorama (only to show what this car used to look like) where it took a first place in the post war convertible division. The front fenders, hood and trunk lid are warpped. The rear floors have rust from the outside elements. The rest of the car is solid including frame rails, front floors and trunk. Take a look at the pictures, there is nothing to hide. I have decribed this vehicle to the best that I can. If there is something I have not covered please ask and I will address it as quickly as possible and post it so everyone can see and read it. The winning bidder is responsible for picking up and or transportation of the vehicle. There is no warranty expressed or implied. Bid only if you are serious and you intend to buy. The full amount is due within 48 hours. For those of you that have bid in the past and did not come through with the purchase, DO NOT BID!!!!!!On Jan-24-12 at 10:51:42 PST, seller added the following information: Bidders with less than two transactions or bidders with 2 negative feedbacks please contact me. Your bids will not be honored if you do not clear this before proceeding. The vehicle is for sale locally and I reserve the right to pull the vehicle from auction if it sells before the end of auction. On Jan-26-12 at 19:04:00 PST, seller added the following information: The title is not a salvage title. It is a standard Texas vehicle title and I have included a picture of it for viewing. On Jan-28-12 at 06:57:04 PST, seller added the following information: The vehicle is also equipped with a 1 1/8" front and 3/4" rear sway bars. Also included with this vehicle is the heavy duty Desert Cooler radiator and the aluma coat headers that this car wore.
