You are bidding on a 1947 Packard Clipper Limo. This car would be an ideal restoration project. Only missing a couple peices of trim. All glass is in tact. Hood is not attached and I'm not sure how to do it. All doors open and close. All rust seems to be surface rust only. I've seen no areas that are rusted through. See pics for overall condition of interior and exterior. Headliner seems to be in tact with no rips or tears. V-8 flat head motor. You can turn the crankshaft with the fan pulley so it doesn't appear to be frozen. 3 speed on the column. Trunk is locked and can't get it open (I may get a lock smith to try and open prior to bidding close). It would make an excellent parts car as well. This vehicle was bought in Venezuela and shipped to the U.S. for a friend of mine as a gift. His intention was to restore it, but he never got around to it and so it has to go. He has a clear title in hand. Vehicle is located in Potomac, Md. outside of the Washington, D.C. area. You must arrange for pickup.
