You are bidding on a very nice very low mileage 2002 Chevy G3500 1 ton cargo/cutaway van powered by the dependable 6.5 liter TURBO diesel and automatic overdrive transmission. YES THIS IS A G3500, EBAY DOES NOT HAVE A SECTION FOR G3500 SO I WAS FORCED TO PLACE IT IN THE G20 SECTION. THIS VAN HAS BEEN OWNED AND MAINTAINED BY THE U.S MILITARY AND HAS ONLY 24,250 MILES ON IT!! I have sold over 100 of these vans in the last 7 years and this is as nice of one as I have ever had. Carfax verifies the clean title and actual mileage on this one (click the CARFAX emblem below to see the entire report for free). PLEASE LOOK AT THE 80 PLUS PICTURES I HAVE POSTED. If you click on one of the smaller scrolling pictures, it will replace the larger picture. I ALSO INCLUDED ALL THE MEASUREMENTS I COULD THINK OF BELOW. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THERE ARE ANY MEASUREMENTS OR PICTURES YOU NEED THAT I HAVE NOT PROVIDED. The exterior is in amazing shape with NO PAINTWORK, NO RUST AND NO BODY DAMAGE ON IT. There are a few minor rock chips and scratches here and there, but nothing major. The paint is still in good shape, EVEN THE BOX IS SHINY ON THIS ONE. The box is a VERY well built aluminum and fibreboard box by Grumman/Olson. It is lightweight but very strong. The box has locking rear and side doors on it. The tires have from 80% tread left on them and are wearing evenly and smoothly (they are Firestone Transforce models). The seats are in great shape with no holes or rips in them. The rubber floor and headliner are in good shape. The dash is in great shape. The windshield has no cracks. The van obviously has not been smoked in. THIS VAN DOES HAVE AIR CONDITIONING in the cab and even has an auxillary heater in the rear area.
THE MILITARY HAS A VERY STRICT SERVICE SCHEDULE FOR THESE VANS AND KEEPS THEM IN TOP MECHANICAL SHAPE. This van does have the remainder of the 11 year/120k mile injection pump warranty on it. This particular van looks to have been serviced at the dealership (see the Carfax). STILL, I have had the vehicle inspected by a mechanic. He found it to be in good mechanical shape with only normal wear. I have had the filters, fluids and belts all inspected and serviced as needed. PLEASE NOTE: THE VAN HAD A NEW INJECTION PUMP INSTALLED IN JUNE OF 2010, WITH 21,300 MILES ON IT. SO THE INJECTION PUMP IS THE NEW IMPROVED TYPE AND IS VIRTUALLY BRAND NEW. THIS VAN HAS BEEN EXTREMELY WELL MAINTAINED AND SERVICED AND NEEDED VIRTUALLY NOTHING AT ALL. IT HAS NO LEAKS OR DRIPS AND DOES NOT SMOKE AT ALL. The transmission shifts out solidly and smoothly. It is ready to be driven anywhere and be put right to work. All the electronic equipment works like new. The heater is warm and toasty. There are just no known problems with this vehicle. I take pictures of all my vehicles as they are when they come to me. I don't detail them and shine them up to hide stuff in the pictures. The pictures of the underneath show you the normal road dust and the fact that there is NO RUST. I will have this one cleaned and awaiting the winning bidder.
