Up for auction is a 1969 Dodge charger SE with its original numbers mathing Big Block 383 4 Barrell. It still nas its original paint and body panels and is super solid.. The car is an Se and has alot of options. It has power steering, power brakes, leather seats air conditioning and many more options that the SE comes with. I started to dismantle the car to do full restoration, but didnt get very far do to a life threating injury. Body: The body on this car is clean and is almost rust free. The car is originally from California and still has the California black plate on it and has not been on the road since 1993.The paint and body on this car are original The car has never been wrecked. The floors, torque boxes, rear frame, front frame is perfect and is just as nice as the day it was built. There is no rust of any kind on the underside of this car. The roof and sail panels are in excellent shape. The front fenders are the original fenders I painted them black and were used on another charger that was my daily driver. If you look at the pictures you can still see the original green paint on them. There is rust holes in the trunk pan and the trunk pan will need to be repaced. The other place where there is rust is on the right quarter panel behind the wheel at the bottom there is small area that has some rust pitting that is starting to go through and also in front of the wheel on the same quarter panel. These areas have a very small amount of rust and can be fixed easily without replacing the quater panel. there is also a dent on the same right quarter panel just above the rear bumper on the coner. This can easily be fixed and you can look at the pictures and they will show you these areas. Oher than that this car is super solid. The grill on this car is almost perfect. Everythng is here to put this car back together. The only thing that is missing is the front winshield trim and the rear window trim other than everything else is here. All the glass is in good shape no cracks or chips. Engine and drive terrain: The engine is a numbers matching 383 4 barrel. It does run but it runs rough. The transmission is not the original to the car. The car will start /run and will move on its on power. The car has factory A/C which is still all intact, power brakes and power steering. It did have drum brakes on the front but now has disc brakes on the front that I took off another charger. some of the electrical will need to be replaced due to its old and the coating is cracked. Interior: The interior will need to be completely redone. It is all there except for the radio and the headliner bows. The guages are in really nice shape and all worked. The car is a counsel car and it is there as well. The front and back seats are in good shape with no tears or ripps and are original to the car. The door panels and both lower and upper panels are there but sun baked and need to be replaced. Regauedless everythimg is there to complete the interior except for the radio and headliner bows. Fender tag: The fender tag is there and in really good shape. The fender tag reads as follows. It is hard to find one that is numbers matching , that is an SE and in this good of shape. I have explained this car to best of my knowledge and is being sold as is with no warranties for the car is 43 years old. This car would make an easy restore.
