This Z has been the recipitent of a no expense spared, meticulous nut and bolt restoration. It offers an aggresive stance and an awesome performance package! The builder decided to delete the original 350 and go with a brutal and awesome sounding 396 ci. big block that has been professionally built new with all the best accesories such as edlebrock aluminum heads, aluminum intake, ceramic headers, 4 barrel 650cfm carb, high dome pistons, roller rockers, lifters, aluminum radiator, etc. It is mated to the famous Muncie M22 rock crusher 4 speed (also new) along with new fly wheel, clutch pressure plate throw out bearing etc. and a 12 bolt posi trac rear end geared at 3:73 and multi leaf springs. The complete drivetrain and all components are all new!! This Z hits the road 110% and has NO mechanical problems!! It runs cool no overheating absolutely NO issues!! Everything is in proper working order!! This car was probably nicest than most cars you see before the restoration started!! It has always been a VERY solid Southern GA. car and has NEVER had any rust!! All of the body panels...Floors, trunk, doors, quarters, fenders etc is the original GM sheet metal it was born with!! The only sheet metal not original is the obvious new steel cowl induction hood. The undercarriage is all original no patch work no undercoat and extremely clean as well. Everything fits nice as it should and doors open/shut properly with a nice solid tone. Everyone knows when it comes to anything black is not a very forgiving color, But this Z has the of the most impressive tuxedo black paint ever to be seen!! It is stunning, slicker than glass and straight as a razor. It offers a very high gloss show winning shine with a mirror image you can see for miles up the street in!! I would rate the paint a VERY strong 9.8 on a scale of 1 to 10 with a 10 being perfect and keeping in mind I don't consider anything perfect. The interior like the rest of the car has also been replaced new. It is all correct with the exception of the more acurate new after market gauges and am/fm/cd The interior is clean throughout no rips tears or stains. The only flaw to the interior is the factory original console has a broke place towards the rear near the ash tray.
