Vehicle Detail

OK, OK, Going to relist once again,,,,AND HERE IS THE DEAL OF THE YEAR!!!!!!!! Only going to do a 5 DAY AUCTION WITH NO RESERVE!!!! Plus starting bid IS ONLY $9500.00. Paid half that much just to do the interior!!!!! (By the way, This is IT, No LOWER. Cant do it). Anyone who knows about or has ever done a complete restore knows I am losing money. But I am willing to do that to thin out the garage. Not interested in any kind of trade. So, if your looking for the BARGAIN OF THE YEAR,,,,HERE IT IS !!!!!! 1950 PLYMOUTH SUBURBAN Two Door with NO RESERVE!!!!!!!!!! Yes, Chevy wasn't the only one to have a Suburban. Plymouth had one from 1949 to 1978 and this one is AN ORIGINAL TWO DOOR!!!! YES, This fine driving car is ALL ORIGINAL except the radiator. I just use it for car shows and I never trailer it, I DRIVE IT to the shows. Whether you just use it for shows or drive to it work this car is ready !!! Matching numbers as it came of the assembly line. This car has been restored from the floor pans up with ALL ORIGINAL parts. As you can see in the pics some of the ORIGINAL chrome on dash and the front emblem is somewhat pitted. Just enough to give it character, still looks great and is the 1950 part. Front and back bumpers have been rechromed. The mileage is also the ORIGINAL miles on the car. The engine is a 217 cubic inch 97 horse power flat head six cylinder and has been rebuilt with less than 2000 miles on it and runs like a champ. Transmission is a three speed on the column. Wheel base is 111 inches. Paint code was used from a 1989 Chevy truck, more moroon than red. (ok, chevy still got in on this suburban). Pretty close to one of the few colors available in 1950. ORIGINAL piston type brakes. The only LITTLE issue's this car has is a very small transmission leak, (but whats an old car without a little leak spot under it, right?) Then, as you can see in the pics, the heater duct needs replaced. It is basically cardboard and is 61 Years Old. Also, in one of the pictures you can see the ORIGINAL turn signal lever on the floor and not installed. Just didn't do anything with the signals but everything is there to hook up and all ORIGINAL. As you can see the exhaust has two tail pipes. The car came out with just one, it is the same as original from manifold back but does split right at the back into two pipes. I have gotten a lot of questions about the underside, I do not have the capabilty to take pictures of it but is in great shape and has been completely coated. So, if your looking for a classic American car that is the same as it was when it came off the assembly line, (AND AT A GREAT PRICE), THIS IS IT !!!!!!! This car has been in many car shows and ALWAYS turns heads. GOOD LUCK BIDDING !!!!!!!!!!!
