Welcome to one of the rarest listings available for a true classic. This is a 1969 Mercedes Benz 280SE COUPE. This is one of the most unique hard to find classics of today. In 2010 this car was brought in for a restoration both externally and internally including full tune up, leather and wood restore/touch up (wood), full paint job (includig acid stripped first before painting) and more! All work was done with top quality products. See the pictures below and you will notice that the entire body of this vehicle was acid washed and stripped down to the bare metal. The entire vehicle was repainted with the original matching colors and then professionally wet sanded and detailed to make her exterior shine like a brand new car. Exterior: Paint is new throughout, so it is a 10/10 Chrome is in decent shape with some signs of aging which is typical in a classic that is over 40 yrs old; however, we did have all of the chrome polished (chrome can be redone for $2,000 approx) This vehicle has NEVER been in an accident, so there is no frame or body damage Interior: Original leather seats were redone with matching original OEM leather material. Carpeting is ORIGINAL yet in very good shape Wood is in good condition, it has been re-polished and sanded although it does show some signs of aging, but appropriate for a 40 yr old vehicle. Seat belts are original as well and in good condition Original Becker Radio Cold A/C Mechanically: Many receipts since its original purchase in 1969 through 2011 Brand new battery installed 5/1/11 Tune up and complete plug, wire, and fluid change in April 2011 Runs and drives perfectly Rare 5 speed manual transmission!
