Rare chance to bid on a RUST FREE Toyota 4x4 Xtra Cab truck. This truck spent most of its life in Arizona which explains why it is in such good condition. Even the frame is still black. These trucks are getting harder to come by let alone being rust free. It has 120,000 original miles (odometer still works great). Factory A/C, heat, radio, wipers, and lights all work just fine. The radio crackles a little when you adjust the volume but is clear while you listen to it. The body is extremely straight with only 1 minor dent (about 3 inches) on the roof and the lower front valence isn't perfectly straight. Other than that, it is the nicest '84 I have seen in a long time! The paint still shines, very few scratches, and most important, no rust. The bed shows a little wear from use over the years but nothing major. There is some light surface rust in the bed where paint has scratched off. I could have spent $20 on the cheap spray can liner but wanted you to see the true condition of the truck. Mechanically, it runs great. All winter long, it has never failed to start regardless of outside temperature. If there was snow or salt on the road, I didn't drive it. The heat warms up nicely, the a/c blows cold, trans shifts smooth with no grinds, clutch grabs as it should, brakes stop as they should, and the tires are like NEW Firestone Destination AT. All the glass is good with no chips in the windshield. The 4x4 engages smoothly and the locking hubs turn easily as they are supposed to. If you know anything about Toyota's, they go places other 4x4's only dream about going. This truck wasn't abused or driven offroad very much at all in it's life. If you are from an area where they use salt, I would have it undercoated- it is that nice. The interior is in good shape also for the year. The driver's seat has a few small holes and the dash is cracked in one spot and missing a little foam out of another spot. It comes with all the original owners manuals, tool kit, and jack. This was mostly just a backup truck. We mainly used it to drive around the country and even ran it back and forth to work several times (120mi round trip). I wouldn't hesitate to get in it and drive ANYWHERE! If you want to fly in and drive it home, I can pick you up at Moline, IL airport (MLI). Clear title in my possession will be given once payment in full has been made. $200 paypal deposit due within 48 hours and full payment due in cash in person within 7 days.
