Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE AUCTION Chassis: 11830189 Engine Number: 3280406, type 901/14 Color Code: 17656 Lido Gold Welcome. You are bidding on a 1968 Porsche 911 Coupe. This car is a number matching car that is in need of a proper restoration. I have taken many pictures of the car please take a look at them and read the description. Should you have any questions please feel free to phone me or email me. I can help assist in out of state or overseas shipping. The original California title has been lost, but can get an out of state title if needed. Please click on the link below for additional pictures. http://s263.photobucket.com/albums/ii152/MrBMW2002/68911/ History: I have the original Porsche Kardex to this car. From the research that I have done I have tried to establish the history of this car. This car was originally delivered to Arizona to a successful business man Howard Goldwyn. It was not long before the hot Sun faded the metallic Lido Gold Paint. The owner then decided to paint the car white and add real ST steel flares in hopes of making it an R /TR Clone. At some point of its life it was painted red as seen in the door jams/doors. This car has been sitting for some time and is in need of a proper restoration. Exterior: This car was originally the very rare color of Lido Gold. This car shows no signs of any accidents. It does have rust in the pan and some other spots (as shown in the pictures). This car is fitted with real ST flares. These are very expensive to come by these days and they are the real factory items. It comes with fiberglass front and rear bumpers. Interior: The interior of this car is rather rough and in need of a restoration. It still has the original seats, gauges, etc. Engine/Transmission: This car still has the original Aluminum engine with Weber 40IDA carbs. This engine turns over freely. This car is fitted with its original aluminum 5spd transmission as well. Overall: This is a great chance to get into an early 911 project. It is a real numbers matching car that was the rare color of Lido Gold.
