Hello everyone. Up for sale is a 2-family owned 1993 Lexus ES300. This was originally purchased at Westmont LEXUS as a new car. In 1998, it was purchased by me and then my brother took over as owner. It has stayed in our family since 1998 in Wheaton, Illinois. As you can see in the auto check service that Ebay has provided that this car comes without any problems and has a high cumalitive score. I have sold many of my cars before and have never, ever had a problem. Why, you ask, because I describe them as accurately as possible. A: The positive attributes of this car are as follows: The engine and transmission run in excellent condition. Engine turns over and is very, very smooth when acceleration is applied. The transmission shifts flawlessly. All windows roll up and down. Locks work. Trunk button works. Gas button works. Sunroof works. Items that were purchased within 2 years. Battery, exhaust, struts, tires, alternator, OEM compressor, condenser, a/c dryer. Heat and air conditioning system work excellent. Please note: All A/C parts replaced my Toyota mechanic. Once every two seasons, you might have to charge a/c system. You can buy at parts store and charge yourself or you can go to a Jiffy Lube. Power seats work. As this car stands right now, I would have no problem driving this Lexus cross country. We have owned it for approximately 13 years. I really believe that you can drive it for 5 more years and if not more. B: Needed repairs and condition report are as follows: Replace valve cover gasket (located at the top rear of engine) Approx.$210 to fix. It leaks from the top down and drips on ground. It does not effect performance but should be fixed so leak stops. Replace both control arms. Replace both sway bar links. Install one parking light bulb. Flat repair. Patch/plug rear-left tire. ABS light on. ABS does not work. As seen in picture: The light that illuminates the gas and thermostat needle does not light up. You can still see the needles and they are functioning and operable. As seen in picture: Digital odometer is burned out. Does not show mileage. Approximate miles are 200,000. Approximately 10,000 per year. Front seats are in poor condition, therefore I have seat covers over them. Rear seats are very good. Car antenna does not go down. There is rust on rear passenger wheel well. Brakes work fine. The reason this car is now up for sale is because a new 2011 Honda CRV and a new 2011 Toyota Highlander was purchased and our Lexus is no longer needed.
