I'm putting this bike up for auction for a friend of mine. He bought it brand new in 2003 and is the only owner. It has 110,560 miles on it but still runs perfect. I know because I just drove it to my house from where he lives about 18 miles and it is a very strong engine. It has always been garaged and well maintained, and he's kept a maintenance record of the date and cost of the work performed. He had a custom seat made for it, and unfortunately he sold the stock seat, so the stock seat is not included in this auction. He put in rear speakers for the stereo system, and had progressive springs installed which he says improved the handling considerably. The bike needs new tires, they were replaced 4 years ago and have 12,255 miles on them. It also needs a battery, because the battery is totally dead and will not hold a charge. To the best of my knowledge everything works on the bike except the heated grips. He replaced them with non-heated aftermarket ones which are a bit worn now. The bike is not perfect cosmetically, it has a few chips and scratches, the worst being a scratch on one of the side bags. The storage compartments covers on the dash and under one of the rear speakers dont stay closed anymore and he used a piece of duct tape to hold it closed. He has also glued on a couple of pieces of velcro to 2 storage compartment covers to attach something which I wont even attempt to remove. It is well used Gold Wing that still runs great.
