For sale is a 1986 Mercedes Benz 560SL Convertible. This collector series is becoming increasingly more rare and difficult to find. This Mercedes has both a perfectly matched red hardtop along with the standard black soft-top that is only 2 years old. The soft-top is in outstanding condition and enhances the red paint of the exterior. Tires are in excellent condition and have approximately 15K miles on them. Stereo is not stock and has been replaced with an AM/FM Stereo with single disc CD player. There is no blue tooth or in-line connect for the auxillary electronic music devices. The interior is original and has (what I would like to call betina) wear. It's worn in the high traffic areas like the driver's and passenger's seat(s). The term 'betina' probably would not apply as much as I would prefer. The vehicle has power locks that also locks the trunk and gas cover when either of the doors are keyed to lock. Driver and passenger windows are power; however, the passenger window needs to be reset into the glass grips to function correctly. Both windows will go up and down. The passenger window currently requires hand assistance to bring up and lock into place. The passenger window motor does NOT need replaced. It simply needs to have the door panel removed to reset the window into the motor grips. the windshield wiper motor does NOT work and will need to be replaced. More photos may be requested for areas that are not currently posted if the area is of concern and specified. This Mercedes starts immediately and purrs in a pleasing manner. It is aligned properly and the power steering is very tight. It runs very strong without any misses, hitches or delays. It responds extremely well on the road when accelerated and braked. Once the wiper motor is replaced - it is car I would put any member of my family into. Please note: I am NOT a mechanic. Mechanical questions may go largely unanswered to avoid warranty implications. I can certainly attempt to answer direct questions regarding the condition of both aesthetics and mechanics with the understanding that the VEHICLE FOR SALE is a pre-owned vehicle.
