Vehicle Detail
Back up for auction due to bidder deciding after two weeks he could not afford to ship the truck to Germany. This little diamond in the rough sat for a few years before I was able to acquire it. No rust on the frame, very minimal body rust. For the most part, it's bone stock. Straight 6 F engine, not sure how many miles, but the Cruiser runs, shifts and stops well , 4 wheel drive works, and has a PTO (not sure if that works). The clutch slave went out on me when driving home the other day, replaced slave drove the rest of the way home and went to back out of my garage and saw the slave push rod had pulled out again. I bought another clutch slave but not going to put it in because I'm not sure why it keeps coming out. I have gotten a couple of opinions from people but it's beyond my talent and I will leave it to a more knowledgeable hands. I've spent a good amount of time and about $1000.00 to get it to where it is now. Have receipts. It won't need much more to make it a great Cruiser. New accelerator pedal/throttle cable assembly. Freshly rebuilt Weber 32/36 carburetor. Other modifications done at some point someone installed an extra gas tank in it (sure it probably works but have not tried it), also has headers and appears they where going to redo exhaust pipe, it has a short bit of flex tubing to the muffler, but I have the new exhaust tubing that was in it when I bought it. Still has column shift 3 speed, and lever on dash vacuum 4wheel drive setup. It's missing some linkage on the bottom, that connects to the transfer case. I've used a wrench to switch the transfer case from high to low. Most people convert the vacuum 4 wheel setup, to a standard floor shift. It's in-expensive to do, and will eliminate having to find the missing linkage. The vehicle needs some work, as I said it sat for a while but it wont take much. The tires are 30X9.50's with stock rims, and they have dryrot. The brake lights/rear turn signals work, but the headlights need to be hooked back up. The gauges are inoperable, except the Oil Pressure, which I had replaced. Someone is going to get a great Cruiser, with a ton of potential. Solid frame, no rust, Straight body with very little rust, and a solid drivetrain. Any questions, don't hesitate to call or write. Thank you and good luck!
