For sale is my 1963 1/2 Mercury Comet S-22 Convertible. This is a numbers matching car. About 17 years ago the car went through a 2 year rotisserie restoration. The engine was professionally rebuilt. The motor has about 10,000 miles on it. This car has a 260 motor and a 4 speed transmission. It has been kept in a climate controlled garage since it's restoration. The paint still has very good shine and looks new. It was very bright out when I took the pictures. The car has been kept all original except for the following: Dual exhaust, mild cam, MSD distributor, rear air shocks. The frame rails have been tied. This has kept the body very straight and the doors do not sag. It has the original trim pieces which have some mild pitting. All the glass is clear. The windshield was replaced at restoration. The only thing that doesn't work is the radio. There's a metal mount in the glove box to put an aftermarket radio in. I never have. The exterior and interior are the original colors. Interior was all replace with a factory Ford interior kit. This has a power convertible top that works as it should. The tires are still 3/4 tread. Tires were new at restoration. Car has optional 14" wheels. The car runs and drives as it should. This car has done well at car shows and is the topic of discussion. I have the original manual. It has the original owners name and info filled out. I included a picture of the ID card. The car is Cascade Blue. The numbers from the number plate are as follows: 76B Y 52 24 C 42 4 5 Buyer is to pay a $500.00 non refundable deposit within 24 hours of auction end through PayPal. Buyer is to pay for shipping.
