It only has 43,313 ACTUAL - ORIGINAL MILES since it was brand new and yes we do have an odometer statement !! I drove this car for the last several days as my every day driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and I can assure you it runs and drives VERY WELL. It has good get up and go, awesome gas mileage and handles like a slot car, what is not to like? This was the last year that MG's were imported to the US and they tell me its the year to have ! If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come and look this car over for yourself, you won't be disappointed !! This is a QUALITY CAR FOR SURE and if you like attention then this car is for you. This BEAUTY has what appears to be the STRONG - original MG - overhead valve - 1798cc four cylinder motor in it and running VERY well. The engine still retains most of its ORIGINAL parts including original valve cover, original intake manifold, original twin cooling fans and the original carb and air cleaner housing setup all shown in picture's of the engine compartment shown below. The engine is backed by a smooth four speed manual transmission with optional overdrive which also functions well. The optional overdrive really makes driving at modern freeway speeds easy for this car. The ORIGINAL Saddle Tan Interior is in GREAT condition with NICE ORIGINAL Saddle Tan front bucket seats, NICE ORIGINAL center console with padded armrest and correct faux' wood panels, NICE ORIGINAL carpeting, NICE ORIGINAL MG steering wheel, NICE ORIGINAL shoulder belts, NICE ORIGINAL matching door panels, NICE ORIGINAL dash with correct faux' wood panels, NICE ORIGINAL dash pad that does have two cracks, NICE ORIGINAL black sun visors and NICE ORIGINAL gauge clusters including a factory tachometer. This MGB is nicely equipped including an AWESOME JVC digital AM/FM stereo radio / CD player with remote control, factory power brakes with disc's up front, dual chrome factory exterior mirrors, factory gauge package, good heater and defroster, original day / night rear view mirror and factory shoulder belts. This car is a great running and wonderful looking Roadster. This MGB Convertible has sharp looks, good power and good gas mileage as well ! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drive train are all in good working order as well as the electrical system. All the lights work including headlights, taillights, factory backup lights, front and rear turn signals. Speaking of lights all of the ORIGINAL light and reflector lenses are clear, bright and uncracked. the trunk compartment is nice and clean and still retains its ORIGINAL black carpeting material. This Roadster is SHARP !! This ride is a great investment opportunity and it is priced right ! It is in GREAT condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find collector car which is not seen at every stop light for sure. The British Racing Green finish on the vehicle is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL showing only a few very small chips and is still bright and shiny and looks STUNNING as you can clearly see in the pictures !! The original chrome and stainless is in great shape as well as the Tan convertible top which also appears to be ORIGINAL. It also comes with the ORIGINAL tonneau cover for when the top is down(shown in pictures below) which looks nearly new but its not. The original front and rear bumpers and chrome rear luggage rack are all in GREAT condition. Check out the MGB Steel wheels with correct MG center caps and chrome trim rings with nearly new steel belted radial tires, boy does this combination look OUTSTANDING on this car and really add to the overall cosmetic impression of this BEAUTY !! This vehicle is in nice mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well. The vehicle is solid with respect to the overall mechanical condition as well as the overall cosmetic impression. This MGB Roadster is a DRY - SOLID - Idaho high mountain desert - Western vehicle that is sound and in NICE shape. It only has 43,313 ACTUAL - ORIGINAL MILES since it was brand new and yes we do have an odometer statement !! I drove this car for the last several days as my every day driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and I can assure you it runs and drives VERY WELL. It has good get up and go, awesome gas mileage and handles like a slot car, what is not to like? This was the last year that MG's were imported to the US and they tell me its the year to have ! This BEAUTY has what appears to be the STRONG - original MG - overhead valve - 1798cc four cylinder motor in it and running VERY well. The engine still retains most of its ORIGINAL parts including original valve cover, original intake manifold, original twin cooling fans and the original carb and air cleaner housing setup all shown in picture's of the engine compartment shown below. The engine is backed by a smooth four speed manual transmission with optional overdrive which also functions well. The optional overdrive really makes driving at modern freeway speeds easy for this car. The ORIGINAL Saddle Tan Interior is in GREAT condition with NICE ORIGINAL Saddle Tan front bucket seats, NICE ORIGINAL center console with padded armrest and correct faux' wood panels, NICE ORIGINAL carpeting, NICE ORIGINAL MG steering wheel, NICE ORIGINAL shoulder belts, NICE ORIGINAL matching door panels, NICE ORIGINAL dash with correct faux' wood panels, NICE ORIGINAL dash pad that does have two cracks, NICE ORIGINAL black sun visors and NICE ORIGINAL gauge clusters including a factory tachometer. All the lights work including headlights, taillights, factory backup lights, front and rear turn signals. Speaking of lights all of the ORIGINAL light and reflector lenses are clear, bright and uncracked. the trunk compartment is nice and clean and still retains its ORIGINAL black carpeting material.
This Roadster is SHARP !! This ride is a great investment opportunity and it is priced right ! It is in GREAT condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find collector car which is not seen at every stop light for sure. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.
Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. We prefere a bank to bank wire transfer of funds as payment as this is the safest for you and for us. We do not accept any paypal payments. A 25% deposit is due within 3 days of the end of auction. The remainder is due within 7 days of the auction ending. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing, your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
