1958 Jeep Willys The photos were taken a few weeks ago, and show the jeep in its current condition. I just had a new gas tank put in this week. Send me an email and I have many many more photos. The jeep is New york state inspected and registered. There is no title, there is a transferable registration. I didn't have any problem at all registering or getting the jeep inspected. The jeep is not listed for sale locally at the moment. Please feel free to come and inspect the jeep. It's in my driveway and is on the road and completely running and driveable! My daughter drives it to school! Jeep is in great condition, cranks right up, runs great, engine, transmission, clutch, brakes, all work perfect, tires are near new, body is not rusted out by any means, nice little jeep ready to use, no repairs needed! In detail, the condition of the jeep is very good, there are a few rust bubbles above the front tires, but does not go through the metal. The inside of the metal under the hood does NOT show any bondo or rust. The pictures of the inside of the floor has some dirt, it is not rust, it's dirt. The mileage says 15000 on it, but I doubt that is correct. I don't like that windshield wiper thing on the inside, someone handy guy can figure something else out, I hate it, but the NYS inspection made us keep it there. It does work. All lights work, clutch and brakes work fine, it's a 3 speed with a unique H pattern with Reverse in the upper left, 1st lower left. 4 wheel works great. No rugs, no heater no radio nothing like that. Engine looks original to me, we put a new battery and voltage regulator in it and it runs perfect. Very very simple under the hood, engine, horn, battery and radiator. If you don't like the jeep, don't take it and we will cancel the auction. If you want to see anything particular, let me know and I can send pictures. This is not a pristine vehicle, if you are looking for a show quality jeep I don't think this is what you want. Its just a cute sunday or (really) nice plow jeep or fun unique 4 wheel jeep. I will help pack it up for shipping, the jeep is drivable, but you wouldn't want to drive hundreds of miles.
