Vehicle Detail

Up for bids is a 1973 GMC Sprint. This has been my daily driver for a little over a year. It is a very reliable car, runs good, shifts good, handles good and will make someone a nice car to drive as is or to fix it up as a show car. The engine is a 350 and was rebuilt when I started driving it over a year ago, it has given no problems whatsoever. Always starts and runs great. The trans is a turbo 350 and it shifts as it should. The car has new front shocks and air shocks in the rear. The air shocks do leak down very slowly, have to air them up about every 10 days or so, not sure if its a line leaking or something else, no big deal just want you to be aware of it. The wheels are just plain steel wheels, 15 inch, with pretty much worn out tires. I also installed a new heater core this fall, it did not have factory air and still doesnt. The exhaust is fair but it does have the crossmember for dual exhaust which is a rare item on these cars. It has power steering and brakes, both work good. The floors have some holes behind the seats which I didnt get around to repairing and the fronts are a little soft but still fairly good. I also have a new in the box piece of carpet I will throw in, was waiting on repairing the floor before installing it. It is from Auto Custom Carpet and is for this car. The carpet in the car now is pretty shot. The seat has a blanket cover on it, it needs recovered. The door panels are nice and there is a new high dollar dash cover on it, not a cheap one that wont fit, its nice, the hard kind, not cloth. The headliner is good. By the way the interior color is black. The dash lights work sometimes, sometimes they dont, not sure why. The body on this car is actually pretty nice for the model. It needs paint and as you can see it is that ugly green so many of them had. The bed floor has some small holes but the majority of the rust showing is surface rust. The tailgate is very solid and not beat up, works great! The front fenders and doors I think have no rust through at all, just some small surface spots. The bottom of the doors have surface rust but no holes, thats pretty rare, most are rotted away, these are good. The bed has some holes behind the wheels, on the lower quarter panels, but nothing really major. The wheel wells show some surface rust but very little rust through. There are several spots of surface rust on the body but its not major. The bumpers are pretty straight and are daily driver quality, not show. All the lights work also. There are holes on the side of the bed where there were bed rails but I do not have them. The hood is very nice, NOT bent up like most are. The grille is good. All in all this is a great, rare car. Its hard to find the GMC Sprint in any condition. This is not a piece of junk guys, its a very nice running reliable car. The choke comes on when cold and kicks off as it warms also. I have a reasonable reserve on this but cant give it away. The reason Im selling it is to finance another project I bought. Hate to see it go but cant keep them all. You will not be disappointed with this car. I see no reason why the winning bidder couldnt drive this car home other than the pretty much worn out tires. I have been driving it every where. If you have questions just ask. Checkout my 100% positive feedback and rest asure your dealing with an honest ebayer. If you have less than 10 positive feedback you must contact me before bidding. I am tired of al the scams on here. I can give you time to pick it up as long as its paid for as the auction states. Thanks and good luck should you decide to bid on this daily driver. By the way it has a clear WV title.
