1964 hawk gt 259 v/8 4 barrel carb 4 speed trans and a posi trac rear end and power steering . My dad purchased this hawk in 1980 from the original owner and was his pride and joy . He had it completely stripped in 1986 and painted black and rechromed the bumpers , . Dad passed away in 1989 and i have stored this stude ever since and have come to relization that i'm never going to do anything with it .Car was sold new in montana and I still have the original window invoice not a copy . Car has a cracked windshield and I misplaced the original air cleaner. The motor had frozen in 1974 and they took a 259 block and all the 289 internals crank and rods and installed a set of jahns 10-1 pistons and a avanti 288 r-3 cam .So the block has been changed . That would explain why this thing runs and sounds like it does
