This is an 1981 Volkswagen Rabbit pick up, I bought this truck oiginally to part out. In cleaning the truck I discovered that it is very well documented. I have the title in the original owers name, the receipt for the vehicle purchase, the window sticker, the epa smog certification sheet, owners manual, warrantye and maintenance manual with the warranty card still attached to the book. basically all of the paper work from the original purchase of the vehicle. The window sticker shows that the large odd side mirrors were a factory option, the bed rails were a factory option. what makes one vehicle different from another is documentation, if someone wanted to put the effort into this truck it will have a major advantage because of the documentation. It does not run at the moment, however with a little starting fluid it does run, so most likely the fuel pump has died, I have video of it running on starting fluid just for reference. The engine in is not the original, it is from a fox, however the original is in the bed, the owner said it had a bent valve. the bad is that the floors are rusted, there are several holes in the floor and the rear of the bed, the strut towers are in decent shape.
