**No Reserve** Up for sale is a rare, awesome looking Velocity Red Mica with Black and Red interior 2006 Mazda RX-8 Grand Touring. I am the second owner of this RX-8, and really hate to sell it, but I need something that is four wheel drive. I have owned it nearly two years, and have had no issues with it only having to perform routine maintenance. I have tried my best to baby it for the 13k miles I have driven it. Only premium fuel has ever been used. The car has been garage kept and mostly dealer maintained. Overall it is in very good condition. The front end has some small minor rock chips, mostly on the valance. Other than that there are only a couple very minor scratches that would not show up in the pictures. All four rims are in very good condition, but the left front has a slight bit of curb rash. I had an alloy wheel repair company look at it, but was told it wouldn't be worth the money to fix it since it is so minor. The interior is in very good condition as well, it even still has a slight hint of new car smell. The leather does not have any cracks, rips, or discoloration. The only thing that might be notable is that the aluminum finish on the center counsel has a couple scuff marks. When I purchased the vehicle I bought some cheap floor mats to put down instead of using the factory ones, to keep them in good shape. Overall I would rate the exterior at 8.9/10 and the interior 9.5/10. Mechanically the RX-8, checks out great. The tires are Kumho Escta LX Platinum all season tires with about 6/32" of tread remaining. The brakes are in good condition, the front pads have about 8mm left, and the rear's have about 5mm remaining. When I replaced the front brake pads, I actually purchased rear pads, but they were not needed, so the car will come with a box of rear brake pads. The car drives very well, and handles amazing. It probably handles better than most vehicles under $75,000 - $100,000 due to the perfect 50/50 weight distribution. The 1.3 liter 212 hp Rotary engine is very smooth and pulls very well. The 6-speed automatic transmission shifts very smooth, whether you let it shift for you or use the paddle shifters. These RX-8's have been known for having poor fuel economy, but I have not experienced that with this one. Usually with a mix of city/highway driving, the car gets about 22.5 MPG. 100% highway it usually gets about 26.5 - 27 MPG going 75 MPH. The best I have done with it is 30 MPG at 70 MPH on a 100 mile trip. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask! Thanks for looking!
