Let me start by saying I am a mechanic for 25 years and this car is a solid ,straight,original FORD. DRIVETRAIN; I have installed new belts,hoses,thermostat,ignition wires,plugs,cap,rotor,air filter,waterpump,timing chain plus gears,rims and tires(including spare). Compression is good and engine has no internal noises like valve tap or bearing wear,no black or white exhaust smoke. Correct 2100 carburetor rebuilt by me with factory OEM FORD kit. Transmission is smooth shifting through all gears, Ive installed new stainless trans oil lines and rear axle looks good,(no loss motion) new dual exhaust. Cold factory air conditioning and heater work great,power stearing works great. INTERIOR;I replaced door panels,kick panels,quarter trim panels,and panel ash trays.New floormats,new working clock,new intrument bezel,all gauges work,no cracks in dash,factory optional AM/FM radio works good. Seats are in great original shape (no rips tears or cracks) with new seat belts. I replaced window felts,deck lid, and door weatherstriping . BODY;Solid body,no bondo,no penetrating rust anywhere,{paint is good,(NOT SHOW QUALITY) but it appears to be original if you look at underside of trunk or hood}. Chrome is excellent,Frame is rock solid,floorboards,doorsills,defrost sump,inner fenders,shock towers,under rear seat all solid!!! Top is new.
