This is my 1964 Mercury Comet Caliente 2dr Hardtop 289 v8 this car is a California original with original California plates. The car was purchased from the original owner in Pasadena California who bought it brand new off the lot and i still have the original owners manual with the dates signed when the original owner took the car into the dealer. This is truly a beautiful car i am sure someone would continue to enjoy, i've owned the car for 9 years and have rebuilt the engine once and the transmission once it currently has some transmission issues which might lead to another rebuild. The engine is solid and very powerful and i haven't had issues with it at all. The original air conditioning unit is in the car but not connected the last time it was connected it worked perfectly and blew cold air. The body is in good condition but it does have some rusting spots underneath the back seat which is on both corners of the back seats.
