I have a 97 Honda DX hatchback here for sale . I' have been the owner for the last 50,000 miles or so. This car has run great for me and I have done my best at keeping everything working and maintained. 20,000 miles ago I replaced the water pump, radiator , timing and accesory belts also 4 new General Altrimax tires on MMB3 Rims . After this I also had to replace a Trans-solenoid, during which I messed up a o-ring which still causes a very small leak, it is a very small leak and it is only a $3.50 o ring that I haven't got yet. Other then these mechanical things I have not had to do anything to this car it has been a strong runner driving me back and forth to Chicago everyday (120 miles round trip daily). It usually got 25-30 mpg . Cons recently it has started to not run correctly , it will start and run normal then once warmed up sputter and die and then be very hard starting or not at all. I also have noticed a tapping valve esp. on acceleration(probably just needs the lash set right.) It also will burn bout 1 quart of oil per 1000 miles(not bad for how many miles are on it.) and muffler just fell off week ago. Pros was good runner many good parts on it for a parts car or a Mechanic Special has clear title and tires and rims alone are worth 400. PS message me if you want more pictures.
