Up for auction is a beautiful 1060 Thunderbird convertible with aftermarket Roadster Package. This stunning car was restored around 15 years ago and has seen fairly limited use since then. Mileage is thought to be original but not 100% sure. Finished in Colonial White and equipped with the 352 engine and Cruise-O-Matic transmission. When purchased new it was with every option available at that time; leather upholstery, chrome engine dress-up kit, factory air conditioning, wheel skirts, exterior chrome dress-up package, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seat, windshield washer. After market chrome wire wheels and wide white wall tires. The completely power convertible top works flawlessly. Still with the original 352 V-8 engine which had an extensive and expensive rebuild approximately 3000 miles ago by the previous owner. The brakes are almost new including wheel cylinders, master cylinder, shoes and drums. She drives straight and true and cruises effortlessly at 70 mph, no overheating problems even in stop and go traffic. This is not a show car, it is however a very reliable driver that is an absolut kick in the ass to drive. The A/C will need to be charged, there is a slight crease in the right rear fender skirt which would be easily repairable. Some small rust spots are appearing in the front bumper, the chrome wheels have some minor pitting. The undercarriage looks fine and does not appear to ever have been repaired. The body is Very nice with the few scattered paint chips from being a driver. Overall as a "ten footer" the car show magnificently.
