I would like to see underside of both doors where the weather stripping is. Answer #1: I bought all the weather stripping before the car was painted. Guy took the weather stripping off of door bottoms to paint the car and replaced with new after car was painted. They look really nice to me. Here's one side: Looks good to me Here's the other side Looks good to me Also Question 2: The place that you show a closeup of with the bondo or primer is it painted now & just where was that spot I can't tell from the closeup Answer #2: There is beautiful paint covering this but... The Rocker panels had some teeny, tiny rust issues, and they were dealt with properly. This spot is much larger, (Maybe 1/2 inch tall, by 1 1/2 inches long ) for some reason they used filler - had been welding the others. When they sanded the filler, they just left it too wavy - not straight like the rest of the body. You can't really see it well unless you lift the car off the ground or get so low you COULD see under the doors. Here is a picture with Red Arrows drawn to try to show that wavy spot I finally got the scratch in a picture (next to the Penny) You can see Fall in the Trunk so it's very hard to get the scratch to show. One angle catches the gleam so it can be seen. The other scratch will not show, but it did give me a great picture. The Ding shows The dent wont really show, but this picture looks good.. I drew some red arrows to show the top of the dent. A sort of crease is below the dent, but you have to be at the correct angle to see it. Note: The Dent and the Ding could be reached from the back side to remove them. To Clear Up the following:This Car had Original Paint and All Original Sheet Metal when I bought it. Passenger Fender was Cut and Welded to another 1973 Mach 1 Passenger Fender. Tail Panel bottom was starting to rust from exhaust so I had it replaced when car was painted. All the Rest of The Car is Still Original Sheet Metal! REMEMBER THIS IS A $14,000-$21,500 CAR (Old Car Price Guide) There Will Be No Disappointments On Dec-14-11 at 11:22:55 PST, seller added the following information: Question 3: You say the passenger fender was cut & another welded to it, are you talking about the front fender or the rear quarter panel? It's two NEVER ANY RUST Front Passenger Fenders made into one, but it's still all Original 1973 Mustang Mach 1 - Not Aftermarket inferior Sheet Metal. People who really know Muscle Cars said "Sikkens" Paint combined with polishing it just got, have paint looking so nice they wouldn't change anything! Paint people said Paint itself is basically 9.5 out of 10. Question 4: I believe that I see a hole in the trunk, is this from rust? No Not Rust, Two Round Holes that are supposed to be there, maybe they used to have Rubber Gromets. (You can almost tell it's round in the picture, but it's on a slope) The Car was Rust Free except the Tail Panel (From Exhaust) when it was painted in 2005. Definitely Not Rust Holes. Question 5: I still cannot understand the rust issues, were the places on the rocker panel all the way thru the metal or just surface rust Surface Rust I thought, but they found a couple of places that needed a tiny weld, (they did that correctly). They also found something they used filler on that was more towards front Fender. I hadn't even seen that until I got the car on a ramp a long time after I had the work done. The Picture in Answer #2 above (with Red Arrows) shows that the filler area is very small, is painted over and isn't really noticible. I have friends who love Muscle Cars and look at every flaw, so I'm describing mine so anyone will be very happy with this sight unseen car. Dent + Ding are reachable from the back, but people have said not to mess with the car, it's so nice. This Dent is obviously not big compared to what people call a "dented fender", I'm showing that side in the Picture with the Red Bow. (I know a body shop who can fix the wavy spot within the week and match the paint, but I'm not going to fix something I can't see without trying.) On Dec-18-11 at 19:51:35 PST, seller added the following information: NOTE: I just remembered that the Passenger side Rear Ashtray is missing the lid. TRUE VALUE: $16,000-$20,000 just based on Options and Condition Alone. 1. Old Car Price Guide shows: $14,000 (for a car that isn't as nice as mine), up to $21,700 (for a car that is definitely nicer than mine, but doesn't have my car's great history) 2. NADA shows these values: $18,000-$28,500 3. http://www.buyclassiccars.com/offsite.asp?site=http://www.collectorcarmarket.com/menus/makes.htm shows $14,000-$20,000 Those values would be without counting any of the following - Each add value to the car for the buyers who crave them. (61,025 miles, 3 Owners, California Car) I've been told that if I advertised in the right magazine, the right buyer might pay mid to high 20K's with history and originality, but I just want to pay for my Camaro now HAPPY BIDDING AND GOOD LUCK !
