We're two Australians who bought this car just over 6 weeks ago for a road trip from San Francisco. We need to sell this car before we fly home, and are very sad to part with it! This car seats two, and in the back we've built into it a full bed with storage (and a decent mattress), so this is perfectly suited for anyone who wants to go away for weekends, the full USA road trip, or even a place to live. It's mechanically sound and other than wear and tear with age it's fully functional. The exterior has no dents or rust and is in overall extremely good condition. It has some wear and tear on one side bumper and a crack in the windscreen. The interior condition is neat and tidy - the only flaw we can pick is some wear on the front seats. The wood panelling and strip lighting all in good condition. Mechanics have inspected the car for us and found the motor to be in good order. We've been through all kinds of terrain on our trip and it handled it all very nicely! Car details: - 1995 GMC 2500 Conversion Van - Vandura Limited Edition, "Cobra" - Mileage: 160,583 - Trans: Auto - It has been recently fully serviced. New oil and lube, spark plugs and leads replaced, new air filter, new fuel filter and new oil filter. All of this was purely for our peace of mind at the beginning of the trip, as it was fully functional before this. - 2 new tires - TV and VHS (some "A-grade" VHS flicks thrown in) - 10 stack CD player - Remote start - Remote central locking - Cruise control-Electric windows - 5.7L V8 Engine, which we've found fairly good on fuel when cruising the countryside. - Great interior strip lighting and wood panelling. Kind of like riding in a retro limo. - Blinds for privacy - Hanging space at the back with coat hangers, makes for a great wardrobe - Air con and heater work great (blows hot and cold) - Comes with a California smog certificate The car comes with nearly $1,000 worth of additional things we've bought along the way, including: - Pots, pans, cutlery, bowls etc, good knives - Propane stove for cooking - Coleman propane lantern - A decent, and nearly brand new (bought new by us in early Nov) full size mattress, with a sturdy bed base custom-built underneath - Storage containers to fit - Ottoman for seating and storage-Camping seat - Esky - Many tools and emergency kits - Snow chains - Electric 12V tire pump - Spare queen size inflatable mattress, with hand pump All in all, everything you'll need for camping or weekends away.
