Up for sale is my 1962 Dodge M37 Military Power Wagon. This truck has a 3.9 Cummins 4bt turbo diesel engine and SM465 4 speed transmission. Motor starts up and runs well. Great looking body with large nearly full tread tires. Truck does run and drive but I have only driven it 100 yards or so as its still a project and for that reason it must be trailered to the winning bidders home. I bought it believing I could could use this truck to replace my 2003 Dodge dually but foolishly overlooked the fact that Ohio provides too many cold months out of the year and a convertible truck is not a daily driver here. This truck will sell regardless of final price as a no reserve auction so bid to win. The truck is for sale locally and I determine whether or not to sell it outside of ebay depending on the current bid so bid early and bid often. If needed due to the Holiday season the truck can stay on my lot until the buyer has time to pick it up. I only ask that its paid for within the required timeframe. Exterior: The body on this truck looks great at any distance, it has been repainted at some point but I found absolutely no filler anywhere and frame is extremely clean. The truck came from North Carolina and Florida prior to that. Tires are 11.00x16 Michelins and appear to be nearly new. Glass is all in good condition, doors function open and shut. The canvas top is tattered and not original. Lights front and back do work off an aftermarket toggle switch. No horn or turn signals working. Interior: Interior is very very basic. As seen in photos it needs completed. There is a key to turn on electronics and a push button to start motor. Battery currently installed has a weak charge and usually needs help from a jump start to turn motor over. Windows do crank up and down. The photos and video provided will allow a better understanding of the truck. Drivetrain: Motor runs strong and has no odd noises. Minimal oil leakage. Nothing noticed puddling under truck but the engine is dirty and oily. Occasionally the belt squeels as its in poor condition. I replaced two injectors this past week and changed the oil to trouble shoot the oil pressure. At start up the motor displays around 10psi cold and under load 50psi. Once warm it shows 7-8psi idle and around 30psi under load. I believe the oil pressure relief valve is faulty and needs replaced but have not confirmed this. Clutch is strong and transmission shifts thru all gears. Electric fan is hooked up for cooling and always runs. The alternator is not hooked up and in unknown working condition. Motor mounts are welded to frame and appear to be well made. Transfer case and axles are original. Front springs are not original and the front shocks are missing. Mileage is unknown. This truck does need work to make it a driver but has great potential and years of life left in it. Terms and Conditions – PLEASE READ!!! The rate of tax to apply is 6 percent. Calculate the other state price (taking into account the above adjustments, such as a trade-in allowance for the purchase of a used car) and apply the rate of tax as listed in the chart above. Collect from the customer the lesser of the two amounts. Sales to residents of any other state not listed in the chart are not subject to Ohio tax, provided the proper affidavit for nonresident sales is completed by the purchases and tendered to the Clerks of Court when application for title is made. If needed, I can provide a temporary tag for a fee of $18.50. Payment A $200.00 deposit is required to be paid via Paypal within 24 hours of the auction closing. If winning bidder would like to pick up the item within 24 hours, please contact the seller immediately and a Paypal deposit will not be required.
