Vehicle Detail

Hello Fellow car enthusiasts. Well, it's time to sell my Grand National. I bought her back in November of 1999. Yep, I've had her for 12 years. Wow. I've kept her in the garage all those years too. No, she's not perfect. The paint is a little thin and the clear coat has a blister on the trunk lid (an inch or so). But, the paint still looks good, just not perfect. The drivers mirror and door has a couple of dings. Yes, it starts and runs and the tranny shifts ok. Heck, you can see the vapor (18 degrees this morning and it had only been running for a few minutes) from the exhaust in a couple of the pictures. Back to the tranny, it's fine but if you go and install a larger turbo; plan on beefing up the tranny too. It's time to replace the tires as these have been sitting too long. Yes, they hold air fine. I replaced the headliner but I didn't get the sun visors reinstalled. The turbo is stock, She has Champion Cast Iron Heads, the exhaust is pretty much stock. I have an aftermarket catalytic converter. It currently has a test pipe. With the converter, She passes emissions but without, it barely fails. She has a slight addiction to Alcohol and so She's equipped with an SMC Alcohol Injection system. She also has a Knock Alert on the dash and a Pillar Boost Gauge and a Line Lock. I changed the AC Compresser several years ago but it needs recharged with refrigerant. It also needs a new cruise control switch. Ok, I've done a pretty good job describing my Grand National but I highly recommend you inspect it yourself. Give me a call and we can discuss. My cell is 801-244-0492. Please call between 10 AM and 9 PM MST. Payment: Deposit required within 24 hours of auction ending. Full payment required within 3 days of auction ending. Cashiers Check (certified from US or Canadian Bank), Pay Pal. Shipping: Buyer is responsible for Shipping. I can assist with shipping arrangements. Terms of Sale: Since this is a used vehicle, it is sold AS-IS. Thanks for Looking , On Dec-08-11 at 18:35:25 PST, seller added the following information: UPDATE: RE: The Experian Odometer Discrepancy and the 1 Accident: If you look at the detail in the Report Summary, the Red "Title and Problem Check" is linked to "Odometer Problem title records". If you look at the Full History, the alleged Odometer Problems start popping up in November of 1999 and the Motor Vehicle list the Miles as "Not Actual Miles". I believe that's because the Odometer does not have the 100,000 mile digit and so it shows 20,852 which is "Not Actual Miles". The reason it starts popping up about that time is the vehicle exceeded the limit of the odometer some time just before that. Ok, now for the 1 Accident. Well, once again, I learned something new about a vehicle I've had for 12 years! If you look at the accident check detail, it says the vehicle was in an accident 7/1997 (2 years before I owned it). The report says "LEFT REAR IMPACT WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE (Case # 1997-32225). Ok, that explains why the Left Quarter doesn't look absolutely perfect if the sun is shining just right and you see it at an angle. All this time, I assumed somone had leaned against it with their butt. So, tonight, I opened the trunk and took a look inside. To shorten this a bit, there are Non-Factory Spot welds in the Left Rear Corner. Then, above the Left Wheel Well, there is an Inner Piece of Factory Sheet Metal that's not as close to the outer quarter panel as it should be. I looked at the drivers side, then over on the passenger side. I think this vehicle either had the Left Rear Quarter Panel Replaced or Repaired. I'll try to take a few pictures this weekend. Hope this helps. On Dec-11-11 at 16:11:18 PST, seller added the following information: Ok, it's Sunday Eve Dec 11th and the Bronco's and Bears are going into overtime! Update: I added 5 Pictures of the Drivers Side Rear Quarter. (3 were taken from inside the trunk with a drop light as lighting, 2 were taken of the Outside). The trunk qtr panel pictures of the inside seem to magnify the damage. As you can see, the outside of the quarter panel looks great.
