Vehicle Detail

I am auctioning off my 1970 Pontiac Lemans. I have owned this vehicle for about 7 years now and it's time to go. Mechanically the car is really solid. Here is a list of things I have done or had done to it. 1. Professionally rebuilt front control arms with polyurethane bushing. 2. New rear lower boxed control arms and older sway bar. 3. New brake cylinders in back and new (rebuilt calipers) up front. Cross drilled rotors up front. 4. HEI distributor 5. Upgraded altenator to new style. 6. Hi flow water pump 7. Leather/reclining front seats from mid 80's Monte Carlo. Comfortable and in great shape. 8. Overdrive transmission. Dual bolt pattern 2004r transmission from 87 Monte Carlo (if you own an old car with a 3 speed automatic, you need to put in overdrive it totally changes the car for the better) I drove this car to Florida 2 years ago from Ohio and got 20 MPG with the original 2 barrel carb. The transmission works like it came with the car. Engine RPM's around 1800 at 70 MPH. Speedometer needs calibrated. 9. Edelbrock manifold with Performer 650 4 barrel carb. 10. Mini Starter Body wise it's pretty solid, but if I were to take it to the next step I would replace the rear quarters. The floor boards as well as the trunk floor are solid as well as the perimeter of the rear window (picture included) and the dash, all solid. The doors, rocker panels and front fenders are in great shape with no rot. The front right fender is actually an Arizona fender I had bought off of e-bay a couple of years ago. The dashboard lights don't work. The died a section at a time. I suspect ground wire but I haven't dived in to figure it out. The dash itself hasn't been carved up but the dash pad needs replaced as well as the headliner. I have the rear window trim off for pictures, but I have it as well as the trim that goes around the wheels. The Firehawk wheels do NOT go with the car. You will get all the original rally wheels with the trim rings. Drive in from any where in the country and drive it home. I have no reservations that you can do that. Mechanically, this car is very solid.
