1978 Chevy Nova This would be a great starting point for a fun car. Good running project, it has power steering, power brakes and has factory air conditioning. The compressor and bracket are missing but everything else is still there if you wanted to hook it back up. It has a mid 70's 350 engine, nothing special just a 2 barrel carb good running motor. No smoke and no noises, it could use a tune up and the carb could use a rebuild but it starts right up and runs fine! Trans is a turbo 350. The engine has a couple of goodies added on like a chrome alternator, chrome valve covers, Mr. Gasket headers and Flowmaster mufflers with turndowns. It also has new Edelbrock shocks all around. American Racing chrome steel wheels are in decent shape as are the 205/65-15 tires. The interior is all there but shows its age, front seat has a few tears, carpet is worn and there are a couple of small cracks in the dash. Some of the hard plastic parts are brittle and discolored but the rear seat is perfect, the headliner is perfect and the door panels are near perfect so it is very useable just the way it is. The rear hatch even stays up on its own, the pistons still work the way they should. The rear seat still folds down nicely also. The body is fair, it has a dent on the drivers side quarter panel behind the door and in front of the wheel well and the drivers side front floor needs to be replaced. They are the 2 worst spots, otherwise it has some rust on the lower rockers, quarters and the lower passenger door but nothing really bad. It just needs someone to take a little time and invest a little money and you and this old car will be happy. I think I have started with a fair price and this is a no reserve auction, so have fun and Good Luck!
