I have for sale a 96 passat tdi, it was a friend of mines, he drove it to and from the VW Plant here in chattanooga, it had a mechanical failure, so I bought it from him and replaced the complete driveline with a matching one from a totaled passat that I bought at the Atlanta South auto auction. The replacement drivetrain has 120k on it. I have installed it and put a few hundred miles on it to make sure there are no major mechanical issues Some of the issues it has. A small tear in the drivers door fabric small discoloration/scratch on the front bumper, a few dents and dings the rear window has bubbly tint a squeaky swaybar bushing The good things about it Its a diesel 45MPG average on mixed driving from personal experience Leather interior Sunroof Power windows doors locks Heat/ac new shocks struts/coilovers 19+ gallon tank means you can run 900 miles per fillup.. 5speed manual with new (15k miles) clutch Oil change with full synthetic every 5k miles I have documentation on the donor passat, I run a small vw repair shop in chickamauga, GA One more thing the silver and black wheels are not included in the sale, at any price, they belong to the previous owner and he has plans for them already.

The car has been a southern car its whole life, was bought from the VW/European dealer in Chattanooga, I think then it was Village European. No Rust, anywhere. This car has a Clear TN title, not rebuilt no leins, holds or otherwise. During the motor replacement, the car received a new passenger axle and a regreased drivers axle.
