We take trades, Please call Brad for questions or an appointment to see the car: 386-503-9364 This TD really takes me back to cool fall days and warm Summer nights as my brother and I would flirt through traffic with a rumbling exhaust note in his TD, those were the days. This is an extremely solid, low mileage restoration completed in the early nineties that we purchased after having been in dry storage for 15 years. During the restoration, the car was completely stripped down, taken off the frame, and all the systems were attended to including braking system, lights and electrics, engine rebuilt (bored 30 over), interior, and most of the chrome work. All the gauges work well except the clock. All the wood framing has been expertly replaced and is excellent. The frame is rust free and solid. After cleaning the carbs and fuel system including a new SU fuel pump, fresh oil and coolant, adjusting the points and timing, and changing the plugs it fired right up. It shifts smoothly and pulls well. The brake system although obviously rebuilt needs to be bled as they are very spongy. An unrestored but serviceable top and side screens are included. The body is in nice condition and free of any rust issues, however there are a few minor imperfections, a couple of barely noticeable cracks in the paint, one minor dent in the rear pass fender, and some minor chips and scratches. (see pictures) The paint has a nice gloss, and the car looks really nice from 5 to 10 feet. All in all it is a great car to enjoy on weekends, or take to local shows. TD's in this condition at reasonable prices are getting hard to find so check our feed back and bid with confidence on this great little car. A few other items that I noticed are that the horns work, one is installed and the other comes with the car, but they will need to be wired up to the horn button. The heater system has been capped off, but I have the pipes and the heater itself, both come with the car. The parking brake and lines are there but need to be hooked up. Also, all lights appear to work except for the rear license plate light. The engine also does not appear to be the original.
