Greetings! I am listing this 1956 Chevy Bel Air Sedan, 265 V8 with a PowerGlide Transmission and with only 35,447 miles for a local gentleman in the Tampa Bay area. Actual miles can't be verified, but the owner beliefs it's possible due to the shape and history he knows about the car! He purchased it about 10 years ago from an acquaintance, and the previous owner before him had it garaged about 12 years, so the census is that this car has been garaged a good part of its life! The car runs very well and the engine sounds strong. The front suspension was rebuilt with a $900 plus kit including shocks, ball joints, bushings, etc. The front brakes were replaced with disks brakes, and power booster which from my understanding is a standard upgrade for these type of cars. It was repainted with the original colors, and the upholstery was probably changed. The valve covers are leaking a bit, but the owner will try to replace the gaskets before the new owner collects the car. As you can see below, I provided some images of the under carriage and it shows that it's in pretty good condition showing very little rust, if any. Also, almost all of the chrome need refinishing. They are pretty straight with almost no dings, but again, they are in need of restoration. This is not a ground up restoration Chevy, but it's pretty nice. I have more images available.
